We have talked about the importance of maintaining good eating habits along with taking LIMU products. One good dietary addition, especially for diabetics is cinnamon. I use the capsules and also add ground cinnamon to my 'no sugar added' canned fruit.

TEA: green tea is reported to be good for us but I do not like the taste so I "camouflage" it. I like hot tea so occasionally chose the "green" teas bags that are combined with other teas. This morning, instead of hot Tang base with Limu lean appetite suppressant added, I brewed Lipton Green Tea w/ Superfruit containing purple acai [a-sea-uh] and blueberry, adding pure honey as sweetener. Honey is about 20 calories per tsp, more than artificial sweetener but less than sugar and better for you.
ReplyDeleteWhen brewing "regular" tea (black) for an iced drink, it is easy to add a few bags of the green tea. This gets some green tea into each glass, not an optimum amount, but at least some and without that green tea taste.
SALT: Does anyone use, or has used, any type of salt substitute? If so, what do or did you think of it and what was the brand name?
